Evening all! I had a great weekend. Went to Charleston WV with MD to visit her nephew. She took pictures but they are still on the camera with our Erie pictures. Eventually she will give them to JS to post.
Weds morning JS and her mom are leaving for Nashville to go to a quilters conference. Of course I will be going with them to make sure they behave. Cant’ wait to go to the Grand ole opry and go to quilters classes. These kind of vacations are so relaxing for me because I can sleep in JS’s purse while she goes around. Not like work where I have to stay alert at all times.
So this will be my last blog for a few days (yes JS knows she doesnt’ let me post often enough). Final thought before I leave for vacation is what I saw on the blue flame sign as JS flew by on her way home this evening.

MD asked JS why she hadn’t let me on the computer lately and JS just acted guilty so she said I could play on the computer tonight. She’s really been hogging it lately.

Meet the newest employee of JS. His name is Emerson. He is a data security expert. His job is to protect everything in JS’s office and her computer.
He looks a little weird but he’s suppose to be good at his job. At lunch when JS went out I tried to play solitaire (the world known game of accountants) and Emerson yelled at me. I was shocked. JS came back petted me and said sorry and explained to Emerson that I am allowed on her computer. I would probably go into some kind of withdrawal if I didnt’ get to play solitaire at work!
MD just thinks Emerson is a paper creature and that JS has lost her marbles, but I know she’s not. Emerson is a cool thing.

Sorry folks, JS and I have been so busy at work we have not had time to blog about the last part of our trip.
So Monday like I said we went to see Louie Anderson. Tuesday morning, JS and PS went on a quilters tour. A very nice lady picked them up at the hotel and took them around to local fabric stores so they could spend money…………<woof>
When they got back they had to hunt Aunt KR down because she was in the casino. They all played some more slots, but didnt’ have as much luck as before. They did all get free dinners from all the points on their players card.
Tuesday evening we spent packing to head home. Weds morning was a really really early morning and it made the day even longer. It is beyond my puppy brain you leave Vegas at 9:00 AM and it’s like 8 hours home <<<woof woof woof<<< enough to make me curl up and sleep for days!
Oh well we’ve been home now and I cant’ wait til August when we head to Nashville for a few days. Will try to blog on and off. I’m going to try and do this blog quick because JS held me up to the window and it’s about to storm badly.
So the ladies decided to do some casino hopping on Monday. The went down to MGM and walked around. They could have gone in to see some CBS promotional TV stuff but they decided they’d rather gamble. I think JS and her aunt were doing really good. At least I saw them stuffing money into their purses.
Then we went to the Luxor where we had the buffet. I luv buffets because JS is always passing me food to eat. Then we went to gamble there too. The luxor is egyptian in nature. The whole hotel looks like a pyrmid. This is a picture in the one level.
I never knew they had starbuck coffee stores in the deserts of egypt……….<woof woof woof>
When we came back we rested for a little bit and went and just ate at mcdees again. JS got pizzahut and let me have some of the crust. Only problem we ran into was the elevators to that level were down and the security men had to take us down hallways behind kitchens to get to the level we needed to be. I felt like a star or something being taken the back way…….hehehehh <woof woof woof>
So the reason we did that was so that we could go see Louie Anderson. He was soooooo funny!!!!!!!!!! His performance went by way to quickly. He took pictures with all the guests that attended. JS said no to me because we would have had to buy the pic and it was very very expensive.
So afterwards to cheer me up she said if my idol was out she would get my picture with him. And he WAS! I saw him hanging out at this bar called dick’s and was so glad he was there that night. So here he is…………. my rock n roll idol of all time…………………….
IT’S ELVIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AS IN ELVIS HAS JUST LEFT THE BUILDING, NOTHING BUT A HOUND DOG <wooof woooof woof>>>>>>>>
So that was our Monday night! I think that is the last of the pics but I’ll blog one more time at least on this subject to wrap up the last two days of vaca!

Weds evening June 25, 2008
So I can’t remember where I left off! So many new people at work to get to know my head is spinning. Yes we have a couple human ones but they dont’ matter. We do have Fluffy and Muffy. You’ll meet them in the coming weeks.
So Sunday night we went to the dinner theatre at our hotel. I’ve mentioned before it’s based on King Arthur’s court. Well we went down to dinner. They let you eat with your hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JS was not allowed to take pics in there of the performance but she did drop me bits of chicken so i could enjoy the food. I also begged her to let me take a lap. It’s like a huge arena type room so she said go ahead but dont’ be long. I ran around twice. There was a strange man in a gown and big and i heard someone say his name was merlin. Weird fellow.
So we watched these ok this is JS talking “hot” guys jousting and riding horses and singing and dancing. Me I was excited hearing the clang of metal and all the cool effects they had……….lol I’ll never understand women……lol
So after the show we went and walked around the casino, got a snack and headed to bed.

Evening all! <woof>
JS was laying down when i bounded up to her and begged for her help posting about our trip down the strip. She sniffled and dragged her butt to the laptop. So here I am sitting in her lap to do this blog. Little One isn’t happy that i kicked her out of the prime sleeping area in the house but oh well Dogs Rule! <woof>
So Sunday morning we were up wayyyyyy early Vegas time. It was before 6am when the three ladies rolled out of bed. JS and PS went up to the McDee’s for their coffee and got danishes for breakfast. Now between breakfast and going out one of the ladies got separated and went to play the slots. So the trip was delayed an hour. They all laughed since I guess that is why we were in Vegas………..<woof>
So about 9am and already 90 degrees they started out down the strip. Vegas is neat. There is basically no way to get across 12 lanes of highway so they have bridges up and over the streets. Up you go and then down and then up and across and back down. We did that a few times. In and out of casinos and stores we went. JS bought some cool junk for people but has not sorted it yet. We went into one casino and they were giving free chances out if your registered for their players card. The ladies pooled their money and JS’s aunt won them some money playing blackjack. What fun watching them try to decide what to do.
The first pic of the entry got me into trouble. The ladies were waiting for an elevator to do one of the bridges when I went <woof> i’ll be back. Before JS could grab my collar I raced over to see the pride and joy of America. I climbed right up her skirt and mentally contacted JS to take my pic.
Yes, that is me with lady liberty! I placed a quick lick on her cheek and raced back to JS! She admonished me not to run off again by myself. If you see someone you want your picture with we will go ask nicely. She gave me a pat on the head and said MD would murder me if I lose you puppy.
So we continued our way down to the Mirage. We really wanted to see the white tigers but after money discussions the ladies did not want to spend the money. During our trip we went to Planet Hollywood for lunch. I was so excited to see one a home state hero at the restaurant. Remembering what JS told me I woofed at her to please take my picture. So rolling her eyes she asked the waitress if she would hold me as she took this pic.
Can you believe it! It’s Rocky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was the highlight of my day for sure! After lunch we headed back to the hotel. It was by then a really really hot hot day. JS retired to a bar to watch the race while I guarded the other ladies in the hotel room til we got ready for our dinner theater. (will tell you about that tomorrow)
Well JS is ready to shut down. Says I’ve typed enough on this blog. Dont’ want to bore all of you…<woof> Down Little One !I’m moving i’m moving. U can have the lap back. Pushy feline! <woof>

We are back from Vegas. Actually we’ve been back for a few days but JS came down with a bad bad cold. Apparently germs do not understand the saying “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” She is miserable and it doesn’t help she has to go back to work. Me, I’m excited to see MD and Charlie and my big brother Buster1.
So JS is having problems with her digital camera. Which means a shopping trip soon, but for now she got them off the camera. Tonight I’ll post two pics and each night this week JS said she will help me post a few more.
So we left on Saturday morning. It was a 4 hour flight! I’ve never had a time change experience before. We flew from the pittsburgh airport and flew into vegas. Weird we left at 8:30 AM but got there at 10:30…….lol I was one happy puppy to stretch my legs. Once meeting up with JS’s aunt from florida we got onto a cool bus and went to our hotel the Excalibur. He I am in front of our hotel door.
That is JS’s mom PS’s hand. And that was our room number. The excalibur’s theme is King Arthur and his court. It is pretty cool. the hotel is basically a castle! And the decor is of medieval stuff. This is a picture in our room that I made JS and PS take of me.
So this is on top of my bed. actually a couch but I didnt’ complain. I’m small and there was lots of room for the families junk.
So Saturday, we ate a really good buffet in the hotel and then gambled some. Shhhhhh they never knew I was under 21. But JS was actually carded several times. A few even thought she was only 18! <gasp are they blind <woof woof woof>>
So since we were all on Eastern time(from now on known as “normal time”. When it was like 10pm normal time everyone kinda gave up on the day and went to bed. Everyone had been up since really early normal time and just couldnt’ go on……..lol I stayed up and looked out the window watching all the people but eventually i curled up and went to bed.
More tomorrow night after our first day back at work. I cant’ wait for you to see who I got my picture taken with!
